Pielfarama Case - the best case for P800

could you post some pics w/ phone inside it please.

i have read some good feedback about this case. i have ordered it direct from them over a week ago. they said ill have it in 7 days. cant wait to get my hands on it

Like it too, but why wouldn't you have the flip on , seems like when you get a call that bottom part would make the unit very bulkie, i think i'll get it to give it a try but i'll probably stick w/ the screen protector.

I jst got my PielFrama case today. to say that i am satisfied is an understatement. it exudes elegance right to the packaging itself. i would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a good case for their P800.

You bought one of those cases? Doesn't cost something like Pesos 3,000?

Right o fonzki. I really gave it some thought though. It took me like two weeks before i decided to get it. Its very well made and gives ample protection to the fone. Whats 3000 pesos compared to the price of this unit? 😊

Is it available in Manila? Where can I get it? Does it have openings for the jog dial and earphone/mic plug and can you pull out the Memstick without removing the case? I noticed inthe Picture that he has the styluse on the case, does this mean the memstick slot is exposed? Is there a risk of it popping out withou us knowing?

And lastly, is there a place in Manila where I can get the P800 screen protector?

I too have the case, but i've settled on the Krussell case instead.

the Pielfarma case doesn't have any cutouts on the side for the Infrared, or jog dial, meaning you have to remove it from the case in order to use it...the krussell case is fantastic...allows acces to the sytlus, jog dial, headphonejack, etc...all without having to remove the phone from the case.

Which Krussell case did you get?

And can you psot some pic's of it somewhere with the phone in it.

I tend to disagree Mike. Maybe the PielFrama case you got was different or a preproduction model. I have no problem accessing my jogdial, headphone jack, camera and internet buttons with it. The only thing you cant access is for the stylus. But what PielFrama did is to put a slot in the case itself for easy stylus access. All i can say is that this case looks elegant 😊

He mentioned the infrared port. Seems to me no access to it in the picture posted. Confirm Christomas?

There is no access to the Infared, stylus and power botton in this case but it looks great regardless, I guess adding such holes will make it a beter case but who knows when it will happen. 😊

No, no room for cash and credit cards.

Room for one stylus and 2 memory stick duo's.

The jog dial is accessible even when the case is closed, so no problem there. Infrared is covered up, but who needs it if you use bluetooth! 😊

I also agree that this is a gorgeous, luxury case, and I'm enjoying it very much.

Instances of using infrared rather than bluetooth:

1. Transferring files using qfileman. This program doesn't have bluetooth sending.

2. Connecting to non-bluetooth phones or devices.

But a $60 case that doesn't have space for money, credit cards, and no cutout for infrared? Hmm. Think twice.

I got my Piel Frama P800 case via UPS Express last Saturday. I ordered it on Feb. 26. But they told me via email that it may take about 20-25 days to ship the case as this is still new and that they are in the first elaboration process. They have good customer service, their packaging is really remarkable. On top of the box is the logo of Piel Frama and its name and is embossed in gold. Opening the box, you will find another type of special paper with again, embossed logo in gold which covers the pure cow skin leather case for my P800. I can't say more but I highly recommend this case to everyone who wants to protect their investment (P800). I am more than satisfied with this product.

I couldnt find any store that sells a case for the P800 so right after I bought it I took it to the mall and had myself a leather belt case made from this leather shop specialist that makes belts, boots, wallets, bags.. etc...

I specifically had holes made for the charger, IR, Headphones, and volume. No slot for the memory stick, stylus, camera (since this is a belt case dsgined for the ususally cellphone and not designed for the usuall PDA)

I've always thought of custom making a case for my P800 too. Just don't have the time to go to a leather store to ask them make one.

Haaay.. But i did have my original SE case sewed with a belt strap. Costs P50 at Mr. Quickie

Really? great idea! Me I made a necklace attachment to mine to go with my office ID but the phone becomes to heavy at times. The leather shop I went to was in SM Cebu, ground floor. I think Im going to go there later to make a more sophisticated case, matme follow the P.F. case but this time put provisions for everything 😊

I spent P550.00 on the above case 😊 My next project will be a PDA case wherein you wont have to remove it when you use it 😊

And if there's provision for cash and credit cards. The better.

I think i thought of making a custom made case for my P800 when i was in Makati. Then when i went to Cebu last February, i saw a custom leather goods store near Jollibee, mango road, the one near Midtown hotel i thought of it again.

I think i also saw the leather goods store in SM Cebu & thought of it again. But since i was on official business and was just there for 2 days, postponed the thought.

I ordered my case from them last Thursday (March 13th) and it arrived yesterday (18th). So it would appear the case is now in full production and delays have been sorted out.

And it is a fantastic case. As for wanting to store money and cards in it, I would rather keep the case as slim as possible. By putting credit cards in there, the case just becomes bulky.

I ordered my piel frama case yesterday at an austrian online shop. They have piel frama cases in their sortiment and they will order one case for the p800 for me.
I am very zappeling now, I hope I get it very fast. They told me it will take 10 days to order from spain.
I will tell all if I am satisfied with the case.

May i ask how the casing fits? From the picture below, It looks like it can fall off any time 😞

Youre probably right muzik. If youre not careful there is a possibility that the fone could fall off the case. Although this is quite improbable since just from the action of opening the case you will have to hold on to your fone securely.
