I have just had to pull the batttery from my phone as it was almost too hot to touch. Has anyone else experienced this? I don't know if I should go to the shop I bought it from or straight to Nokia 😡
I am really worried after now reading about apple iphones catching on fire I don't know if to switch it back on or what
Go to the retailer and have it checked under warranty . I would claim a new battery in case it is broke .

Add to the many features of the N97....😉
- Fry an egg on the back cover!
- Defrost a windshield!
- Light a campfire!
TOP TIP for you...
Don't carry it in your trousers pocket...
unless you don't want any more children!
Great comments guys????
A little update I turned it back on and it has stayed cool for about 8 hours do you think it could just be the fact that it was in my pocket , that is normally the place I carry it though, or was it an application that caused it ???

You do like to live dangerously don't you?
Seriously though, check this Nokia battery website out... for the sake of your unborn children! 😃

I'm a heavy user of the N97 and I've never had a problem with the battery over heating. Me... yes... but not the battery. Could damage your handset... or worse!
Thanks for the link I have now checked the battery and it is an original battery so I think I will get the phone checked out. Although saying that it has been fine all today.....well as fine as a N97 can be 😉
Get it checked... no way should it get that hot.
