v20 firmware doesn't have the latest Maps! — Nokia Nseries S60 5.0 phones (Nokia N97 and Nokia N97 mini)

Just found out from cbidlake (Nokia employee) in a thread that I left over on Nokia Discussion Forums that the v20 firmware update did not contain the latest (supposedly fixed) version of the Nokia Maps software.

I expressed my shock and surprise that a firmware update only hours old by the time that I had installed it did not contain updated software to fix one of the BIGGEST reported problems with the N97.

I want to start an international fund to support the development of an "Advanced Reasoning and Logic" educational center in Finland.

Anyone else interested in contributing?

i'm running the beta of the next version from labs. i, too, was suprised to see the current version... but nokia are not good at keeping their word, so i wasn't that suprised...

What I don't understand is:
With v12 the ovi suite offered me maps 3.03 to update maps 3.01 I had on my phone.
With v20, where maps 3.01 wk38 is included, I don't get any updates, neither over the N97 nor ovi suite nor maps updater.

Whyyyyyy?
