Online Certification. Help !!!!

I tried to load the Ovi Store programme down to my 5800 and the message came up "online certificate check failed".
Can somone tell me how to overcome this please ??
Thanks,
Oldsilverfox.

In Menu : go to Application Manager > Options > Settings .
Set 1. All , 2. Off , and try again . This setting doesn't do any harm as long as you think there is nothing wrong with the software to download .

Hi jAPi NL,
Mant thanks for your help. That did the trick. Your point about the certification is a wise one, but seeing as an app has to be extremely desirable as well as being bomb proof, there doesn't seem touch must have apps for my taste anyway.
It just seems bizarre to me that a Nokia phone would reject an Ovi portal app.

There are many experts on this forum , who know a lot about the reason why apps should be Symbian Signed and over the air checked .
From a user point of view , the main reason might be that a regular user is protected against a cripple purchase .
Confusing is : their is a lot of software that ain't cripple at all , but will be refused by the OTA check .
But I don't think it is a Nokia issue : any software that's not Signed , the phone can not install . Same for OVI client .
1. All , 2. Off , avoids OTA check and is allways the easiest .
