Anyone know how to get hold of a second syncstation? I have PC's at home & at work and it would be very nice ot have everything 'in sync' (no pun intended). SE customer service line say they're not available as a separate accessory yet - which is frankly dumb, but anyway.
So, would it maybe be possible to get one of the Carphone Warehouse repair centres to order me one as a spare?
I'm aware you could use the USB sync cable which you can get as an accessory, but I much prefer cables to cradles, much less fiddly..

I think you mean it the other way around, you like cradles more than cables. O suggest you get the Cradle from SE for the T68i (CDS-11) http://www.sonyericsson.com/uk/spg.jsp?page=start
Then you get a Bluetooth Dongle, You get am instant wireless sync station. Except that you have to get an extra charger too for the CDS-11
You wont be able to backup and restore via IR or Bluetooth, Just syncronize with your PIM

a) I'm not sure the P800 will actually fit on it
b) It's only a charging point as far as I know
As far as I know, the syncstation is the only cradle that operates as a charger and as data cable at the same time. A DCU-11 with the charger plugged into it would do the whole job, but I'd prefer a cradle if at all possible.
I can't honestly see why they aren't offering then as an accessory. Having two 'sync points' seems to me something quite a lot of people would want. hey ho.

a😊 Yes im sure it fits because I bot it for the same reason as you did, that SE didnt sell an extra one.
b.) Yes it cannot sync but you connect a handsfree unit at the back so when you answer your calls you dont have to pick it up but bluetooth headphones are better (I have an HBH30, a busted and noisy one, if you wana here my story on this let me know, I wouldnt recommend it.)
Thats why you have to buy the bluetooth dongle which is probable just around 40-60 USD. You wil have a wireless syncstation! Even better Right? 8)
Just tell them you broke it and all those crap to the service center or hq whatever they call it and you need a brand new one fast. 😃
