It just seems really odd to me that I can't seem to find what I'm looking for out there.
When I had my Palm TX, there was a great (actually free) backup program that essentially cloned the TX to the memory card. If anything went screwy, you could hard reset and restore an *exact* and complete copy of the device as it existed at the time the backup was made. Since the program could be set up to do nightly backups while I slept, I always could roll back to something no more than 24 hours old. On the other hand, since it also could be set for multi-day cycles, I could go back up to 5 days in case it took me a couple of days to notice something had gone whack.
As far as I can tell, there is really nothing like this for S60v5. I really have zero confidence in either the Nokia PC Suite backup or the File Manager backup to card function as neither seems complete and the latter has too many tales od having to make major tweaks to get back to normal. I keep hoping Resco Backup will come out with a Symbian version.
Is there smething out there that I have missed? :redface:
