Sky mobile tv help ! Three UK

5 replies · 4,057 views · Started 08 November 2009

I wanted to watch Sky Sports mobile today, so i went to Sky and followed the link for 3.

I paid 1 for one days access, then the fun started, they sent a link to my phone, and i spent the next six hours watching the screen say "connecting" followed by "error on page"

It did my bloody head in.

Three's customer service is absolute poo, so hoping someone on here can help.

Is there a an actual app for Sky tv.

I'm not a Sky customer, i'm with Virgin.

Does anybody use Sky Mobile TV? And is it any good?

hi

sky mobile is brilliant with T-mobile.. very good quailty around about 240-250kbs on my n97 ..

the issue could be the setting with the real player connection make sure it is set to your network not Wi Fi ... or the Sky link that they gave you might have gone down ...or there server.. make sure you check with 3 that your simcard is regirsted for the Sky mobie... also check that your in a 3g or 3.5g area ..

regarding Sky app there is one but it dont work that well

thanks

Okay, it could be the area i'm in as i'm actually on holiday at the mo. So instead of watching the Footie on my 42" Plasma, i settled for the N97.

I will have another go whe i get home tomorrow.

It would also seemt that some service providers supply Sky 1 as well.

I couldn't see this on 3 only the sports channel.

Anyway they gave me a refund so at least i didn't pay for it.

no you can use it through the tv out but ... theres really no point in doing that because it will be very bad quailty for the tv because of the kbs it will be pixlised
