1/ Not a lot you can do other than play with the settings (compression quality, brightness etc). It's just very poor.

2/ Nope, no delivery reports. This seems to be an Ericsson thing. Never had an Ericsson phone with 'em. Nothing you can do.

3/ PC Suite is supposed to be in development for W98, but no word on release date.

If all those things were so important to you, it might have been an idea to have a look at the spec BEFORE spending a fortune on the phone?

And yes, it's still just a rumour about the firmware updates for now, and the latest generally available firmware is R1D, though some countries seem to have got hold of R1G.

First of all the camera IS THE BEST mobile phone camera! The quality is a result of missing proper software! The next firmware upgrade will have nightmode that is missing for the moment!
As for the firmware I think you are REALLY confused!
Latest PHONE firmware is R1D
Latest PDA firmware is R1G05
Phone and pda firmwares are 2 tottaly different things!
This mobile phone will be a totaaly different phone after a couple of firmware updates! I suggest you wait a bit more and see what happens!
As for message delivery report it will be also included in the very next firmware update!
