app for keyboard lock (for shortcut)

Hi there,

I would like to assign my defautl shortcut of the main screen to lock the keyboard. Yet this function does not appear in the list of apps that can be assigned to shortcuts.

Anyone would know of a tiny app whose sole function would be to lock the keyboard? I saw on a forum the code to get this done (two lines) but I am not a programmer...

I am kind of both lazy and always in a rush when I leave my office (soft-fn keys on E71 keyboard needs a careful look, vs my previous nokia on which no problem), so just clicking on hte one big button which happens to be on the icon for keyboard lock sounds like music to my ears...

I realize I am not contributing much to the wellness of the planet.

jAPI,

I go for www.mobifunsoft.com/smartsettings, no doubt! adds so much. includes keylock as part of other functionalities including a start menu. I did set this app on my "root" shortcut, and the first app that shows is... keylock - so double click on the big button and bingo. Plus now easy access to applications, contacts and more.

thx a lot

😊
