The return of an old foe - The N97.

Its back and now running on v20.0.027. The N95 is on stand by just in case, hopping around on the sub's bench, waiting for the latest 'big money signing' to come a cropper - again.

I found myself writing a really long post, but then realised that I wasnt really typing up anything you guys hadnt read before, so decided to keep this short.

Just to say, it seems ok so far, not frozen or hung, battery life is now back to normal and in fact, actually seems to have improved.

I bought a new ( used ) car at the weekend, which has a built in TV in the dashboard, and has an Aux input. Bought a very simple adaptor and can now run the TV out cable from the phone into the cars TV to watch movies and other stuff ( of course, not whilst Im driving, that would be irresponsible, wouldnt it. )

Interesting . I am thinking of "Real Time Streetview" , connecting your old foe in videocamera mode to the carTV .
It could be more secure while driving ?

😊 Regards jApi NL

Hmmm, I think I like Japis suggestion better, cruising along the streets of Jeddah having Real Time Streetview on the cars TV. I did actually think about mounting it on the back for a parking camera!

The TV only picks up two free to air tv channels, both in Arabic, so need a more creative use for the tv set. Apart from the usual on board computer display. Due to the limitations of the adaptor, if I do connect the TV Out, I can only get MONO and not stereo sound though. Need to get a better adaptor, but cant argue for 2!
