My Accuweather widget has been "Loading" for the last couple of days, so on a hunch I tried visiting the Accuweather website.
It doesn't respond on the internet over my DSL connection.
Could the problem be not with the Accuweather widget itself, but with the unplanned load that untold numbers of N97s trying to update every 15 minutes with their website is bringing their servers down?

I'm inclined to agree with you rdcinhou.
When I first used Accuweather at the end of June, and right up until about 6 weeks ago, I had a choice of 4 locations for where I live plus "Current Location" which all worked fine.
Now, however, on 3 of those locations I get "script error" and "Current Location" returns "Unable to get your location".
So, like you, I would guess that Accuweather has been swamped and has disabled Current Location and a lot of the pre defined ones too.

Mines working ok, but only been running again for a few days. When I first got the N97, I took it off the homescreen after the first couple of weeks, so didn�t really use it much anyway.
I�d happily relinquish it again if I could another ( 3rd ) shortcut bar.
How odd... I've just noticed that "Current Location" is working again on Accuweather. Haven't been able to get that for about a month. 😃
