I have to say that newer models of N97s are way better made - louder speaker, easy to press buttons, more responsive screen, overall better responsiveness, accurate GPS (10m), longer-lasting battery (they sent me new one too) but the camera lens cover is just as close...but somehow slides better and not scratches (maybe different mechanism or material?). It came with 12.x firmware, not 20.x. Howver, the original phone that came with 11.x firmware was nothing like this one. Both were made in China. I guess Nokia f*cked early adopters... I really like this one thoguh! I had nothing but bad things to say in almost all my other threads, but that phone was really like that.
anyway, the one issue I got is that YouTube site crashes the Web browser. I do not want to use 3d party, but the default one runs out of memory... or just closes and I have no other apps running. I also use KillMe to close unnecessary processes.

Instead of going to the main YouTube website, I use the Symbian YouTube app. It loads quicker, and takes up much less memory than the nokia WEB browser.
I think it's a free download. If you can't find it, PM me for the install file.
YouTube app shows in very low quality...

Can't say I have noticed that. I must be easily pleased.

No problems here either with YouTube on the browser, both in wifi and 3.5G. I use the app downloaded from YouTube:-

I wonder if MonarchX is using wifi or 2/2.5/3/3.5G?

WiFi. I use the Web browser, not any YouTube app. YouTube app shows lower resolution/quality video when comparing to the Web browser. Big 20 minute videos will make my browser crash in no time. :frown:
