7650 discontinued?

Went into a Nokia shop today and was asking a few questions about phones, and the guy in there said the 7650 was being discontinued - this is Orange UK's position too it seems, who have withdrawn it from their line up. Seems a bit quick to my mind if its true. Does anyone in the know have any better info?

If this is true I guess it explains why the media player thing was released for the 3650 and not the 7650 even though it works fine.

It shouldnt be as they are making those still at Nokia.

Nokia needs to update their ranges All the time. Once a new product is launched (3650), they concentrate only on that range.

The Nokia shops want to sell the 3650 not the 7650, that's why they will tell you that the 7650 is discontinued.

Fortunately, Nokia offers support for their phones long after they are 'officially' withdrawn
