Picked up my N97 from the care point on Saturday,
They gave me a brand new one !!!!!
Running V2.0 which came out about an hour after I dropped it off at the shop 🙄
I've given it a few days too test it and all seems well
I had most of the issues generally reported (gps camera etc)
This morning I finally manged too get rid of the email prompt at start up lol.
Accuweather is still borked.
I had been playing with the phone and expected a large middle finger, but when checked on the nokia system it came back clean :con?:con?:con?

I've been trying to take mine back to a Carpone warehouse service centre, but they can't take the phone in as it's still listed as a wholesale phone and not registered to Expansys which is where I bought it from?!
I don't really understand what they're on about so think my next step is to take it to a propper Nokia service point - there aren't any that local but it might mean I get the phone back more quickly...
How long was your phone in for? Obvisouly they didn't fix it, but did they assess you old phone and offer you a new one on the same day?
Don't bother with CPW just head straight to the organ grinder imo.
I dropped it on a monday and it was back there on the following Friday so nearly 2 wks.
I did leave a list as long as your arm of faults though, so they probably took one a thought better of trying just a re-flash lol.

The replacment is damn near perfect.......
Has the odd moment of madness, but generally it's the phone I expected back July.
Fast, responsive, and the GPS works correctly now....Which is nice !!!
Just waiting a few more weeks before commenting on the camera lense cover.
