i will be selling my n95 8gb soon.
ive managed to back up my notes and contacts to outlook on my pc.
and ive backed up whole phone to one file, but i cant access this file, its just for restoring i think.
can i back up my texts, so i can browse and read them on my pc or mac?
kinda like my myphoneexplorer for sony erick. phones.
i have sat nav configured and working.
so what should i do beofre selling the phone?
if i do factory reset, the sat nav wont work.
shall i just manually delete my photos and messages, and thats ok?

You can back up your text messages and photos using Nokia lifeblog. Its on the disc that came with the ph. You should find everything on the disk 2 reset the ph

i dont think iphone has these features!
nokia pc software is too bloated. too many variants.
shall i try ovi? damn why is there so much nokia software?
so ovi can also just be used as a back up and browsing application for computer?

Earlier(still) there were too many phones pc software from Nokia like Nokia PC Suite(for all Nokia GSM phone that has got pc support connectivity), Nokia NSeries PC Suite(only for NSeries phones), Nokia OVI Suite(advanced version of NSeries) etc.,
Apart from that Nokia Lifeblog/Photos, Nokia Software updater, Nokia Music and so many.
To resolve this Nokia has come up with latest Nokia OVI Suite 2.0.1.35, through which Nokia is marching towards one application for all Nokia GSM Phone needs....
In Future Nokia OVI Suite = Nokia PC Suite (7.1) + Nseries PC Suite(2.0) + Nokia OVI SUite (1.x) .....

damn, ovi suite is a big install file.
took ages to install too. havnt used it yet.
I am happy with PC Suite and it is stable and works well, I can send messages from ym phone on it etc
Should I bother with OVI suite?
Why dont they just concentrate on one!
