1. Keypad slides up and down extremely easily. too easily.
2.volume of speaker greatly reduced.
3. scratches on cover.

Recently dropped but i used my right foot to kick it so it didn't get damaged. But 3 days later, my P800 accidently "PRESSED" it's screen against the rear part of a jeepney. And WALA! Cracked screen.

Actually it's just the touchscreen that was cracked, so i can still see the phone's display underneath but i couldn't input anything since cracked touchscreen. Service center replaced the whole thing coz touch screen is connected to LCD screen as one whole part. $150 to have it replaced. OUCHHH! As in OUCH!

I'm now one of the statistics above. Boo hoo.

Take care of your LCD guys (and gals)!

I'm holding on for the first American to shoot their P800.
Accidentally or otherwise. :2gunfire:

mate of mine (Richard) just fell over whilst trying to operate his P800,
although the phone itself did not hit the floor, does "dropping the operator" still count?

I dropped mine from about waist height and everything seemed fine. Except that when I tried to use the touchscreen it thought I was pressing it about 1 inch from where I actually was. Quite annoying as it was just too far to select the calibrate option as it is at the bottom of the options screen. Didn't really matter though as I got a new one for free from Orange the next day.

It only took three weeks before I dropped my P800, i was picking up my laptop, knocked into the side of my P800 (sitting next to it on the desk). I will proudly say that I caught it on the top of my foot! Yes, on purpose. Go Me!! 😮nfire:

Jules,

... Or the first guy to be saved by having a bullet lodged in his P800 instead of his body...

I had a strange mishap with one of my old R380s phones.

I put it up on my nightstand to be charged, as usual. It was set up on the charger (small black one, quite similar to the charger/base for the P800).

I had a large (very large & heavy) painting hanging above it. I guess for the last few months, the rope holding the painting slightly dislodged and the painting dropped straight down on top of the poor phone.

The loud bang woke me up just quickly enough so I could see the R380's trajectory...

The back was completely dismembered and caused the connector on the bottom of the phone to bend and a part of the back of the phone broke off. It was a hedious sight. The phone worked perfectly, so I slowly bent the connector roughly into place and super-glued the back of the phone back on. The phone was usable, but did not work properly on the car holder (which expects the connector to be at a certain angle, I guess).

A few months after that, the phone started losing pixels on the screen (probably not due to this particular issue) and that's roughly when the P800 came out...

I was in a hurry taking my P800 out of its case. When my arm was in a swinging motion the phone slipped, flew a couple of meters and hit a hard and nasty concrete floor. It really scared my because I thought this phone was very fragile because of all the features 😊
Anyway the phone got a scratch (one of the corners) and the styli jump of so I am quite happy with the build quality of the phone 😃

i just seemingly threw mine on the floor... i dont know how i managed to do it! the hand strap got caught on a draw handle and it forcefully hit the floor!

not even a scratch! phew!
