Digia @Web browser (beta)

I found another web browser that is "touch friendly" for S60 5th edition...

Digia @Web browser (beta)

It currently is available for free download.

It is F-A-S-T and friendly.

Read the built-in help which is set up as a welcome.html file with internal page links and you'll get going a lot quicker yet.

The only thing that I could find wrong with it is that the zoom scrubber doesn't seem to zoom to the different percentages--but all-in-all it has many advantages over the built-in N97 browser.

Enjoy!

Opera Mobile 10 (beta) tended to lock up my N97. Even the Task Manager Exit would not remove it, so I'd have to reboot to get it out of memory.

That program is long-gone from my N97.

ok....they released a slightly updated version earlier in the week, and it more or less helped solve the memory full problem, it rarely happens on mine now

Try using http://oneweb.net*with your native browser instead of downloading another browser. It uses less data on your phone when browsing web sites so it does use as much RAM so your phone won't run out of memory, plus it allows you to watch videos and makes most web sites faster, it even makes it easier to do Twitter, Facebook and other stuff.
