Good GPS accuracy in suburbia, but in cities still sucks!

I was wondering whether I am being picky or not. My new N97 replacement gets 10m accuracy in suburban areas (old one was never this accurate), but in downtown its still 60-100m! The actual position is precise enough and there isn't much lag (if at all), but the GPS utility shows quite poor accuracy in uptowns.

So, is it like that for everyone in cities with skyscrapers? Is it still poor shielding quality?

P.S. The map booster software is worthless for my city because there are no free WiFi spots.

Haven't really tried the satnav on my n97, but whenever I'm using co-pilot on my MDA in Central London it does seem to take longer to lock my position.

Definetly have to say that high rise buildings make it harder to get a lock imo
