So how do you find out if your phone can run Spotify? Visit m.spotify.com from your mobile browser and find out if your phone is supported. Alternatively, enter your phone number in the Spotify Mobile page. We’ll send you instructions via SMS on how to get started with Spotify Mobile.
We also list all supported devices on our Symbian page, so if you’re looking to buy a new phone and want to know which ones we support you can find them there.

I personally think �9.99 a month is too much to pay just to listen to music via a mobile.

Are you completely crazy? I mean seriously? I am amazed at how cheap this service is!
�9.99 (around the cost of one CD) is too much to listen to a virtual unlimited about of music on my phone, or my ipod, or my computer.
To much to allow me to create my own playlists from millions and millions of tracks, to be able to sync them to all of my music devices.
To listen to all my music offline, so I can take it anywhere.
I am seriously astonished at how so many people have COMPLETELY missed the scale of the way Spotify (and the other similar music services that will spring up) potential to redefine the way we consume music.

As someone who can't remember the last time I purchased a music cd (I am middle aged) I do begrudge �9.99 a month.
I didn't realise that you could download tracks and play them whilst offline. That is a good feature, but I still won't pay �9.99 a month.

yep, i'm with you on that one.
Last FM and the N97 scrobbler work really nicely together, whatever you do on the phone or pc is updated both ways. I love it, and it's free!
If anyone wants a Spotify invite, just head over to www.spotipartners.com, enter your details and they will send you one.
However, to use the Spotify service on your phone, you need to be a Premium subscriber (�9.99 per month) and therefore don't need an invite.

Yeah, I too agree with you t, as someone else who is also middle aged�..
Can�t remember the last time I bought a CD as its full retail price for myself � have only bought them as pressie�s for the kids and wot not.
I did away with illegal downloads such Limewire many many years ago, and don�t use them at all. Instead I buy second hand CD�s, the originals, from either eBay or Amazon, download them onto the iPod and that�s it. Once they are into my iTunes file I do with them what I need to. I don�t listen to entire albums anyway, just tend to pick and choose the tracks I like. I actually find Amazon cheaper than eBay these days.
If you�re heavily into music, it might be worth it, but not for me, I don�t actually listen to that much anyway. It�s the concept of it that interests me, rather than what it offers me.
