Just wondering, can we take out the Memory Stick while the phone is on.
The user guide didn't say anything about turning off the phone before taking out or inserting the memory.

Yeah, i'd like to know that too. Always turn off my phone before removing it. Just to be sure.

I have done it several times but thinking about it I might have ruined the files on it. I thought it was the PCMCIA memory card reader but it could be because the phone didnt shut the files down properly.
will do a test later.

As Long you don't have any open applications that are stored on the Memory stick, then it is possible to take out the card without shutdown.
Done this many times , with no problems .
If you have a ringtone that is being used as your ring on the telephone, then if the ringtone file is located on the Memory card, then your P800 will ring silently.

itayoz is right.. As long as theres nothing open thats stored exclusively on the MS then your fine.
