My Commu suddenly stopped receiveing fax messages a while ago for no apparent reason. The phone side display would show a 'fax call' incoming call for about a minute and then it disappears without actually recieving the message. I have reinstalled Fax 4.13 but nothing changed. I also can't Write Fax in 'Messaging'. When I press the side-bar 'Write fax' button, a 'not found' message window appears. This is very irritating. Any Help will be appreciated. Just a few more hints, I don't have any particular memory problems, firmware is 4.13, Just formatted the phone and reinstalled All Mem Cd data and all 9210 data. Thanks

U need to reinstall fax.sis (not faxmodem!)
I've reinstalled every component with the letters F, A and X included out of desperation. fax.sis was certainly one of them. I took my phone to the Bahrain Nokia service centre (Intercol) and to my surprise, they installed fax.sis 2.0 (for earlier firmwares) instead of 3.02 which goes with 4.13. Nothing more than what I could do!! This gave me even more problems naturally and messaging centre kept shutting down repeatedly. Wouldn't be too surprised if I find that they can't even tell the difference between the different versions. Anyway, problem remains, can't send or recieve fax messages. Help still needed please!!
i had a somewhat similar problem. my fax editor use to open & after ive typed in what i wanted to fax & press send, thats when it would show some error & close.
I also tried to install fax.sis & it worked but after a few days the same problem came up.
ive done a complete format & reinstalled all_data(whatever).sis & now its perfect. i receive my faxes clearly & properly now.
Also first check with ur servise provider if ur service is properly functioning.
