The other day I had decided to update my n95. After numerous hours figuring out that I can't use Nokia Map Loader on an Ovi N95 because it'll plot my position about 500m from where I really am, i finally got it working. Or so I thought. I ended up having a problem with route calculator. Maps would calculatae the route and plot it. All would run well for 5 or so blocks and it would drop the route. In other words, it would return to simply showing me my direction of travel and position on the map. No route info. Coincidently, after about that much time, power-save time-out kicks in. I'm unsure as to whether the phone is powering out and thereby dropping the route, or if it's a problem with the software/hardware. Seeing as the max time limit is 90s, I can't possibly set it any longer and I can't keep tapping the buttons so it doesn't 'sleep'. Any suggestions?
