Funny lines in the background!

Here's a new problem!

I got my phone repaired yesterday at a Nokia Service Centre (GPS, touch screen and new cover to remove a scratch on the screen (not under warranty 45)).

Anyway, now, in the back of Theme Nseries2 which is a dark grey I can see faint flickering vertical lines which come and go. It's kind of like interference.

Hmmm, I wonder if I'll ever get a fully working phone?

Luckily (I suppose), they didn't have any camera lens replacement parts in stock so I have to take it back for that so I'll have to get them to look at the screen.

But, I guess it's nice having the N97 back - the N95 did me proud for a couple of weeks but it was annoying me that I had 500 tied up in something I wasn't using... and so far, other than the lines, it's been working quite well! 😊

I assume your handset did not have the screen problem before you handed the phone in for repair?
If so, the NCC is probably responsible and should repair the new fault for free.
Contact your local trading stanards office if the the NCC store manager is not willing to assist.

Yeah, its a new problem but I can't seeing it being an issue as the phone is under guarantee anyway :icon14:
