The last time I installed ovi, I found that all the phone contents remain on the screen even after the phone is disconnected from the PC. This was not the case with Nokia PC Suite.
Does anyone know whether this issue has been resolved?

This is not an issue. Added new thing in Nokia OVI Suite 2.0 (NOS 2.0) 😉 Phone contents wont appear unless and until you sync your contents with NOS 2.0, if you don't want your contents to get displayed on NOS 2.0, don't sync your phone content with NOS 2.0, As simple as that 😃
