Not enough storage on the Mini

4 replies · 4,351 views · Started 02 December 2009

I have a N97 mini.

Using OVI suite.

Tried to install all the maps from Map module in OVI. about 4.92 GB.

I have about 6.8 GB available in Mass Memory.

Have set to prefer Mass Memory in options.

However, when i select ALL MAPs in OVI Map in the suite, it says there is not enough storage.

How do I get them installed?

Err.. how about not installing everything but only the areas and countries that you need?

Either that or buy a 16GB Micro SD card and use that

Change the amount of storage Map Loader is allowed to use. It's never set to 100%, so you'll have to change it to that.

Or, more sensibly, do what bchliu said, and only download the places that you know you will need.

I have a tendency to try to visit the world when I'm visiting the loo for a period of time.

Anyway I don't find the allowable memory option in MAP loader (is this the standalone map loader or the one bundled with OVI suite?).

Just wondering if 6.++GB is not enough to download 5gb worth of stuff.
