N86 - Can I browse the web while connected to my laptop?

3 replies · 5,048 views · Started 02 December 2009

Most of the day, my N86 is connected to my laptop.

Can I browse/update data from the web while it's connected? I want to use my Laptops network, and not use wifi/BT or the internal mode.

Thanks

Hi,

If your phone has got GPRS enabled, you can install Nokia PC/OVI Suite. Connect your device in PC Suite mode. Open One touch access, and then you can browse while connected to your laptop.

Is this is what you required?

Thanks for your answers.

I don't want to use my GPRS connection.

When at work, my laptop is connected to our LAN, I want to use this in order to update my phone, download podcasts, sync zyb, etc. So the idea I had, is connect my phone to the laptop, and update the data.

Can this be done?
