eReader App on N97

In case you were wondering, this does work on the N97 (or at least the N97 mini), although there are a couple of issues.

Installed the FP2 version for 3rd edition, and it works fine, even change page using touchscreen, in fact the only real issue is it resets the phone when you exit the app.

So, either don't ever quit the app, or just consider that the app provides two functions in one, its a book reader, and a soft reset app 😊

Yes it does that also on the full size N97.Its a shame really it probably would not take much to tweak the code to make more stable.Having said that although I used it regularly it was pretty crap and buggy on my N95.I have emailed ereader quite a few times and there support says that they are working of sybian 5th edition version - but nothing as yet seen.

Its a shame beacuse geographically unrestricted mobi pocket ebooks are becoming rarer and rarer and it would be good to have more choice particularly with new titles.

eReader books have the same problem though, although for ages now I got round it by claiming I live in the USA, the only address I could find was for the Whitehouse at the time so they think the US president is called kevwright and reads a lot of ebooks 😊

I did get an email last time saying my address was incorrect and it may afffect future purchases 😊

Hi

I find I can flip between the us and uk sites of booksonboard.com without too many problems but the book format for same book seems to vary from each site - also diesal books do not seem to have to many restrictions - fictionwise used to be quite relaxed but seemed to have `cleaned up there act a bit`lately sadly.
