Hi all, just dropped my 9210. Phone side works fine, but the communicator side brightness is very low, I can just about see the screen but it is working as I can see the icons. the phone is out of warranty. Any help would be greatly welcomed, Thanks in advance

OUCH!!! sad thing...but im afraid that there really is not much you can do. I just hope all your control panel setting are set of maximum brightness, try changing it & restarting the phone. If te problem persistes, you will have to take it to a NOkia Centre. When my phones go out of warranty , i just take it to some other phone repair company, te local people, they also do a good job & charge a lot less.

The exact same thing happened to me recently and thought that I could do something about it. I was wrong. Had to take it to the service centre and they told me that the display light was damaged. It cost me BD25 (around US$65) which I thought was a bit expensive but didn't really have much of a choice. Even if your warranty was still valid, you would be told that this could only be caused by a fall which makes the warranty pointless. Good louck!
