how do u make the camera on the p800 less visable?, so i can take secrative pictures 😉 😉 .?
my friend can do this on his panasonic gd87 because the flip does not look like a camera, except the camera nosie,lol.
with the p800 there is obviously a camera visable as it is surrounded by a grey ring saying digital camera,lol.
i have tried making holes in paper and manouvring the phone throught the hole but its to obvious again.
any one got any gangsta ideas? :P :robot:

When holding it just put your index finger and middle finger on either side of the lense.

Sorry, I'm with Mr. Gadget - there's already too many creeps violating womens' privacy by doing upskirt and breast shot photos with smartphones and putting them online. I'm glad the camera has an audible shutter noise, and I hope they don't remove it.
Mark my words, within a year or two, any guy with a camera equipped smartphone will be automatically branded a slimeball because of the actions of a few pervs. Already in Hong Kong, these phones are banned from restrooms and other places.

yea thanx zak, who said anything about vouyer?. yea zak i tried that index finger pose, like on the james bond movie its a bit hard to get the shot right. im so glad that my p800 camera nosie can be turned off when it is on silent.!...any more suggestions welcome.

with practice i think you would be able to get a small mirror - hold the phone flat, and angle the mirror at 45 forward.
This way if someone looked at you - it would look like you were looking at the phone. I think the most unsubtle bit about photo taking is the way you have to hold the phone right up - this way you could hold it at stomach level.
just a silly idea, but could work.
If you wanna take a picture of someone discretly, its probably because they don't know it or wouldn't agree w/it, would you like just any creep taking a picture of your girlfriends ass while you didn't see or didn't notice, i surely wouldn't!!
there is so many other things to do w/ a p800 than taking voyeur pictures, or wanting to pretend to be Bond.

you can take away the sound on the p800...it is only the gd87 that it is impossible to take away the sound 8)
I took some secret pictures for my lil online photo journal, its rude to have your camera into someone else's face so I try to keep it outta sight. :roll:
Besides, when you're travelling and you take photos of ppl, you don't bring it on front of your face and start clicking into the local's face do you?

I wanna add a thing. Someone has been accused in my city, taking peep photos of women inside a book store. And just that we have so many paranoid people here in my city, I will be very cautious holding the cam phone in my hand. It is not fun, it sucks. 😞
