I have installed the Hantro video recorder 3.4 on to my Nokia 7650 v3.16. Im able to play clips on my phone, however, when I sent tests clips as email attachments or MMS to myself (Nokia 7650) the attachments are not recognised.

Has anyone else encounter this problem? Is there a solution?

Thanks

Steve.

Hi,
There is a known problem with viewing sent video clips, I think there is another thread on this forum somewhere about it to.
As the software was specific for the 3650 any clips that come through automatically get viewed by the video player built into the phones OS and so does not have a problem viewing them.
The bug for 7650's is that Hantro3.4 cannot view the files straight from the inbox, it doesn't recognise them even though they are the right type etc. The way around this is to use a file explorer program, SeleQ or Fexplorer to cut n paste the files from your mail inbox into the video folder on the phones memory. Then open up Camcorder and view the file from within that program.
There is talk of a fix for the 7650 so it registers the video from the inbox but we'll have to wait and see if it comes. As has been said nokia aint to happy about promoting video on the 7650 when you could buy their new 3650 with it built in.
