ovi.com sync doesn't work with PC Suite

I have been trying to sync my calendar from Ovi.Com to my N97.
It just doesn't work!

Having googled about it would seem the Ovi.com sync won't work if you have any other sync profile.

This includes the one installed by Nokia PC Suite!

So i have my whole years calendar "trapped" on Ovi.com

Fortunatley i have a backup on my Home pc.

But the whole Nokia PIM side of things are a clusterf*ck.

Surely it should all work together seamlessly?

with ovi you can only sync directly to the phone ota or over wlan,pc suite or ovi suite don't sync with ovi.

Thats the point, if you have ANY OTHER sync profile on your phone, using ovi.com will result in data loss!
