SPB Software has launched a glitzy new take on the weather forecast genre, with an interactive 3D globe and various weather animations, plus an N97 homescreen widget. More details and screens below.

Apologies for the images being broken currently. There's a server problem. Rafe's looking into it. Thanks for being patient.

just installed the trial on my N97 mini.. wonderfull application.. well made with nice transition effects when you press a day to see the weather in detail for that day.. one issue though, i don't have the homescreen widget to add.. how come? is it available on the trial version?

Looks pretty nice. I would like to buy it, but homescreen widget is missing (N97 Mini).

I've been providing this feedback directly to the developers on this N97 mini Home Screen widget issue since they do not have a Mini in house to test it on. Hopefully they can get this resolved soon as I have an open spot on my Home Screen just waiting for the widget.

The homescreen widget was available immediately on my V20 N97 classic without any need to reboot

I tried rebboting but still no sign of the widget on N97 mini...

It seems that N97 Mini is not supported concerning homescreen widget.
I hope they will fix that.

I've had this for ages on Windows Mobile and it is a great app.

The WinMo version has templates you can add in to get your weather provider of choice - I use the UK Met Office which is invariably the best (at least for the current day!😮)

I got mine from the Spb forums in case anyone is interested.
I assume the Symbian version allows for the same tweaking?

Works great on S60v3. Has some bugs but still a lovely app. One of the things I missed from my WinMob days was Spb Weather, so it is great seeing Spb supporting Symbian. Hopefully they will start developing Symbian versions of Mobile Shell and Backup as well.

First time I heard someone said that about the Met Office. They always get the current day wrong where I live!

On my N97 Classic, when selecting 'Connections' it only lists 'WiFi' connections, and there are no options for connecting through 3G.

Has anyone else got the same problem ?
