Auto Rotate

Is there a way to rotate the home screen and the dialer? I keep phone horizontal for car navigation and ease of use for full qwerty.

Do you mean this?

Settings --> Phone --> Sensor Settings --> Turning Control --> Auto-rotate display

no. my home screen and the dialer do not rotate.
