Ereader For Symbian 5th addition Available !

Hi

Having attempted to read my first book on the ereader 5th edition software I have found it as buggy as previous versions.The page turning (on my device anyway)seems to stick every 10 pages (even in autoscroll mode)or so .My device restarted whilst using ereader and I have now `lost my page`the go to navigation option does not seem to work - I have now had the `page waiting` option displayed for about 30 minutes.

I have installed to both device and mass memory with no effect.I also have 48mb ram free and 33mb free device memory - Anyone else had similar experiences?

Shame really - I am yet to use any version of ereader pro which is bug free

Went to install and received a "Not compatible with Phone" error, so didn't bother after that, appears it needs more work

I had the same experience. The pagination process seems completely broken. I've tried waiting hours. I sent them a trouble ticket about it but have not heard anything back.

So far I am using ereader in Styletap, I just have to reinstall Styletap every 14 days (no, I am not paying $50 for an eReader). 🙄

Did you try tro install V4 for R5 ? - The first link on page although marked R5 actually downloads an R3 version - you need to download from the link below and you can then enjoys the same problems !

Styletap is a Palm Emulator for non-Palm devices. It will allow you to run many Palm applications in an emulated Palm-OS environment. It requires a PC-side downloader in order to set up.

I have not used it but am keeping it on my things-to-watch list in case the developers don't come up with a good relational database for the N97.

It may also be good to have if you want to run Epocrates.

If you do, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE write a detailed review.

Also include what Palm software you tried...there's thousands of palm applications out there, most of them very mature and it would help a lot to know what works well and what doesn't.
