Anyone else having problems getting fring video to work properly?
Tried a couple of times now to video call a friend who is also a fring user, and whichever route I try - his fring user name or his Skype user name via fring, then I cannot get the video to work.
I can see my own small thumbnail image, the fring 'video test call' works fine, but every time I try to connect via video, I just cannot see the other person's image / video.
One small observation, when I start up the call, I get a small little pop up message on the top right corner, saying something like 'open up DNL first' or something like that.

i can do voice and chat but not video chat.
and i dont seem to get all my skype contacts either

any luck finding new update in fixing problem ???
I use Fring with Video. It works fine, only tried it using a wifi connection. Perhaps your data carrier is blocking a port? No ideas otherwise.

Works for me. Quality depends on network speed. It's poor in ZA, but great in NW. Europe.
Still not sure what is stopping it from working properly, I do make sure I'm on a 3G connection or at least hooked up the wi fi. When on 3G, I'm on Orange, my mate is also on Orange and every time I've tried calling him, I just cannot seem to get it to work.
Will keep trying it though.....
