strange that you can hear the audio sound from the phone though the headset is plugged-in.
What is the version of your firmware? I have 2.50 and got no problem in using headset. I mean the sound can only be heard in the headset, not in the phone.

i have 2.50,

When there is no headset plugged in, the sound is very loud, but when i plug the headset in, sound drops and ther is some in headset and some through speaker
may i ask where u got mp3 to go?
You can get the trial version of MP3Go from the developers pages at http://www.m-internet.com/products/mp3gons60/downloadform.asp

Im facing the same problem! But its only in mp3 programs and when i watch video-files. The .wav files in the recordings folder only come out of the headset-speaker.
Damn, i wanted to watch movies in the bus with my headset on but now i cant because everyone can hear the sound 😞
Greetings from the home of cebit

yeh i have same problem but i am very sure that its just because they have used a cheap headset jack. i usually find that if u wiggle it around abit then it is ok (tho if u bump it is stuffs up again).
Its really annoying and i really wish that nokia had put more care into this.

You guys will find that it's only coming out of one speaker because only 1 channel is being sent to your headset. In other words, the Nokia 3650 only has a MONO output, WHAT A CRIME!

Anyway, I still can't decide if I want this phone or not due to that very deficiency. Mabye if a wireless headset will produce a stereo sound then I might be convinced, but no-one can tell me if this works or not!

GRRRR :x

Works just fine on the HDW-2
I can play music via realone and listen to it on the headset.

Thou the HDW-2 wireless headset only goes in ONE ear anyways so is mono.

But it sounds sweet 😉

if you listen to your hdw-2, does the sound still come out your 3650? and the hdw2?

greetzzz

Just out of the HDW-2, also you can transfer the sound to and from the headset & phone with the button on the side of the headset (thou this feature does not work on 3650 1.34 firmware you need 2.50)

Best 😊

can someone tell me how the mp3 sounds on the speakers
compared to the P800's speaker does it sound really bad or almost the same?
