i have e51 and i have my power button not working so i'm asking if there an application to set a special time for mobile to switch it on

for example if i want to change the sim card or the battery i wont be able to switch on the mobile again

so if there an application to switch on the mobile at a certain time

i know there are applications to make it restart but i wont to switch off it then change sim card and switch it on after 2 or 3 minutes

Hi,

Don't have the E51, but this works on an E72:

Using the standard Symbian clock, set an alarm for the time you want to switch on the phone. You can then power the phone down. When the alarm time comes around, the alarm will sound (even though you've switched off the phone) and you'll be asked if you want to Stop or Snooze the alarm.

When you select Stop, a second dialog box is shown asking if you want to switch the phone on.

There may also be software apps you can download to do something similar.

Regards,
TB
