I just learned of two new programs...
One for the N97:
Autoinstaller - for automatically installing a directory full of applications

One for your PC:
Nokia Configuration Tool:
For being able to load and propagate a wide variety of settings to multiple phones (or the same phone again after you've done a hard reset!)

Considering that it takes me about 10 hours to reload and reconfigure all of my applications after forcing a hard reset, this might save some time dont' you think?

Do you know if AutoInstaller just starts the installation of each app automatically, or if it also does a 'silent install' where any questions or license prompts etc are also automatically answered?
As for taking 10 hours to re-install all your apps manually, I don't think so... but even if this was true, then autoinstaller would probably still run for 9 hours for you!
The benefit here is that the user is forced to keep all required SIS files in one handy location accessible by the phone (something I advised you consider doing some time ago).
A great sounding app none-the-less. Thanks! 😉
