E65 as home phone replacement

Hi Forum,

I plan to replace my home DECT phone with an "old" Nokia e65.
I plan to use it over Wireless LAN with my Asterisk Server. Calling in and out works fine so far but here comes my concern:
1) What if no SIM Card is in the phone?
2) Are there any people with experience who are using a symbian S60 device as a home phone? Any advises?

thx

Strange, I did expect a bit more response.
Actually I tried the phone without SIM-Card, but the phone then runs in offline Mode which is not usable at all.
I inserted an old SIM-Card which is out of business. The phone is not in offline mode any more but I get the message "error registering sim card" over and over. I don't know how to switch that off.
Next thing is: When I receive calls, they are shown with Name of caller, that comes from Asterisk via SIP. But when I look into missed calls, I don't the the caller's name, just see sth. like that: sip: <<000numer000>>

Someone has experience with that topic?
THX!
