I for one really like my N97. I also have an E90 and that is a great phone also. I was trying to change the Icons on my home page. I managed to remove the top four, not wanting to remove all four. I just wanted to remove one or two and add different ones in their place. I now have to install four on the top line, but I can't find how to add them. I go the the add part of the menu and it gives some items that I don't even know what they are. I want to put some of the programs that I have in my apps. On my E90 I can do it just fine. Its seems to be different on my N97 and I can't find that facility.
Any advice please???
Thanks,
Bobby
OK, those bars with four applications on - if you chose remove, then you remove the whole bar. Don't choose remove, instead choose settings. This will then allow you to specify which application lies in each position of the bar.
To put the bar back, choose "Add Content" in the relevant location and then look for something called "Application bar 1" or "Application bar 2" depending upon which one you actually removed.

Oh, ok thanks. I will try to get it back where it was. I just did it and it got me back to where I started. I then went to settings and that gets me like my E90 to see all my applications and now can put them on there.
Thanks for your help.
Thanks,
Bob

Is there any way to get another application bar, or are you restricted to just two? I'd like to replace one of the live widgets.
Only 2 shortcut bars I'm afraid.
