Been thinkng of changing back to an iphone recently, two nights ago i had a freak accident where my phone fell from my hand slid along a table and then fell off the table straight into a pint of coke! i thought that this was a sign that even my N97 knew it was so bad that it hand to end its short lived life. To my horror it still works fine and no longer have a solid reason to get an iphone(as far as the missus is concerned anyway)!

Surely that's a good thing isn't it? One downside might be that you'd have sticky keys for a while 😉
It is although i was really convinced it had died and i was moving on to better things.........
And actually my speaker has become very quiet, loud speaker woks though.
i never got my len or gps changed, do you think i willhave a problem now as its been wet or will they still fix thelens and gps as it is a known issue?
There was some spirit I believe , either in the phone or in the coke !
With water and cleaning spirit , dropped on a dustfree cloth you could try to clean the sticky things . Contact-spray for buttons and hinges .
IMHO the lens cover and GPS issues are not caused by user's mistake and so still under warranty .
