Has anyone had any success using the callback feature on the P800? I have tried numerous different configs, but no luck so far. I can connect to the remote server and authenticate - and the remote system correctly calls back my data number - but I cannot work out how to get the phone to answer the data call automatically.
I have been trying to do this using Opera.
Any ideas?

I have the exact same problem. Have tried everything, even have control over the ras-log to verify that it calls my number. The log only says "No answer".
I'm on orange in the uk.
When i first signed up in Jan 2000 i was given 3 numbers
one voice, one data and one fax
some batty woman in middlesborough used to call my data number loads
it seemed to be the number that the calls came in on that identified it as data
i couldn't answer data calls and talk to her
perhaps you need a data line?
I have bost a data and a fax number... but my remote RAS server rings the data number just fine - but the phone doesn't answer it.
I think I am going to ring SE.
I don't know if this will help (because I'm using a 9210), but I had extactly the same problem on Orange. Ok authentication, Ok calling back but no connection (so no cigar).
I gave up.
When I moved over to Vodafone, I gave it a try (I figured that nothing ventured, nothing gained), and it worked! Exact same settings, exact same numbers, exact same phone, only a different operator.
I can't explain any more than that I'm afraid. Callback worked on Vodafone but not on Orange.

Maybe it's to do with a prefix and post fix on your account. Maybe if you can speak to someone who has some intelligence at your Network Operator, you may get some luck.
I'm from Greece and I have the same problem with callback.
No problem with network because with t68i works fine.
