With previous phones that I've had (Motorola and Samsung), I got used to a feature by which the phone would vibrate every 5 minutes or so (indefinitely) if I had an unread text message or a missed call. This was very helpful for me, as I keep my phone on vibrate all the time and I sometimes would miss the initial notification. I've noticed that my 5800 will vibrate only once (when the missed call happens or when the text message is received) and then never again, which means I don't know I've missed something unless I periodically check my phone visually. I mentioned this to a friend and he confirmed that his Nokia does the same thing. Is there a setting or an app that can give me the behavior I'm used to?

you need an app called Remind Me. the 5800 will blink the white light, but that's it. no beeps or anything our of the box. gotta install a 3rd party app.
