An old, old Motorola that I had many years ago had a cool feature that I've not seen since. I kept the phone on vibrate all the time, but when I plugged the phone into the charger, the phone automatically switched to ringing (without me having to do anything). Needless to say, this was super useful because when the phone is charging, it's not in my pocket, so I don't feel (or hear) it vibrating when a call comes in. Does anyone know if there's a setting or an app that enables this behavior on Nokia phones?

you have to install an app like best profiles or handy profiles to get this functionality. in addition to this, these apps will also allow you to do things like auto turn on/off bluetooth when charging, change to a different profile, launch a certain app, on and on. lots of good options from these apps. unfortunately its not built in from nokia out of the box.
