clearing space on C:

Noticed that my C: drive has been STEADILY declining at a rate of at least 1kb per day and was at 28MB last i checked

installed Swiss Mgr Pro to have a look at the biggest sized files in my C drive and found this file AMS.txt in the root folder. Now i don't know what it's used for (something java-istic, i guess) but opening the file does not show any texts.

so, i deleted the file.

now have extra 9MB free. will try out all my apps to see if anything's wrong, if not i think this file is safe for deletion. does anyone else have this file?

ps backup the file to your E drive first before deleting it please.

edit: the file has started rebuilding, currently @ 956b after 30 mins

having a look inside i see code;

In CSmartProfileAppUi::HandleResourceChangeL()
In KEikDynamicLayoutVariantSwitch
222
NNNN1
NNNN
Out CSmartProfileAppUi::HandleResourceChangeL()

which seems to be repeating. possibly caused by Smartphoneware Best Profiles?
Anyway it seems to be a log of some sort, so i guess i'll be deleting it monthly

Can you tell me the location of this file on the C: drive please? I will check my phone then to see how large a file mine is.

Thanks
