SmartProfiles allows automatic profiles switching according to your schedule or calendar. For each profile SmartProfiles allows the selection of additional settings such as: background animated gif, palette, alarm and calendar sounds etc.

Any user of a mobile phone and/or the Nokia 7650 had experienced the following situations: while in the office, meeting or dinner suddenly your cell phone disturbs you: incoming call!? Not now!? It's the only thing you can think about at the moment. Quite often the interruption puts you into an embarrassing situation. Another example: you are lying in bed, trying to have some rest after a hard working day, and again the phone is ringing, because you forgot to switch off "your favourite toy"... Terrible! The idea of integrating with calendar is excellent, but unfortunately is not applicable for business meetings synchronised with Outlook, as it is not practically possible to use keywords. I would rather prefer to be able to switch automatically to Meeting profile for any calendar entry found during specified hours, i.e. working hours. Then I can use keywords for private entries.

If you look at the main website for it, it mentions that it will do keyword switching within normal events, it looks flexable eniugh for what you want.
I didn.t use eProfiles because my work hours do not run on a regular schedule, this seems to solve that problem, allowing me to put my work hours in my calendar and let the program do the switching.

It does not solve the problem, as I want to automatically switch to Meeting profile during any calendar entry found betwen, let's say 9-17 or maybe for the whole day.

Then go into profile rules, move right into calendar rules, choose options/new entry and under keyword type 'meeting' or 'boardmeeting' or however you or your secretary names your meetings in outlook which is then synchronised with the inbuilt calendar, then chose profile 'meeting', allow deactivate and return to previous for when you are out of the meeting. It will now look at your calendar and see when you have something with the keyword in it and the change to 'meeting' profile and change back againwhen it is scheduled to finish.
If this is not what you mean then I am afraid I do not understand. :-?

I think I see what you mean now, it won't look for calendar entries that are of the type 'meeting', this is probably the programmers thought that this would be the only type you will need to change profile for, not aniversaries as they are only marking the day and memo's are event over a couple of days. As there can be many things marked as meetings during the day, keyword searching is ideal, it can distinguish between a dentist appointment or meeting your wife for some lunch. All you really need to do is start using a standard way of putting in entries for which you want the software to switch to a certain mode, like 'meeting with Stuart', and when it sees that the word meeting is there it can switch to the appropriate profile, or if it sees the word wife you could get it to switch to silent, etc, etc.
If it just switched to a profile whenever you had an event in the calendar, what would happen if there were exceptions?

I think you got the point, but the ideea is that I don't want to edit calendar entries and add keyword 'meeting' if it is missing. Instead of doing this, I would rather prefer to switch the profile manually.

I am pretty sure in most of the cases in corporate environment, to switch automatically to Meeting profile for any event found in calendar during working hours is an acceptable solution. And if there is an exception, then I would switch back manually the profile.
