Been suffering intermittent outtages much of the afternoon using the Nokia Messaging for Email service on an N97 (V20) and then late afternoon imap sync with gmail froze and I started to get huge ammount of resync'd mesages coming in from my other pop3 accounts.
I had read that there is an update coming to Messaging (I hope it might also be to include the IM client into the N series devices). In response to inquiry from me on twitter the Nokia messaging team Said that it was the start of the upgrade process commencing with them upgrading their servers with more details to follow tomorrow.
Small ammounts of service interruption may be experienced (expected).
Personally hope that this does include adding in IM functions for my N97 and maybe this might be all rolled into the Jan 28th firmware release including OVI maps update - a big daddy 😊
