I have recently done a Hard Reset (3-key technique) on my N85.
Since doing this, the "App Update" feature no longer works and says "Refreshing Failed. Try again later". It's done this for 3 days now.
I have tried dong a full reset again and also tried the *# techniques too. Still will not work.
Everything else works perfectly including email and internet via WAP and WiFi.
App Update works on my 5800 Music Express so I know the service is active and that my router and Service Provider works.
Has anyone come across this before or got any suggestions as to what I can do about it? Perhaps someone knows of a way I can try to reinstall just the App Update application - maybe this is not reinstalling properly on the reset/reformats.

This won't help much, but I've been getting the same message on my N96 for a few days. I keep checking back to see if the updated Maps with free navigation has become available. So I don't think it's your phone.
Could it be that Nokia's servers are struggling to cope?
I'm not sure it is the Nokia servers since the 5800 connects immediately every time.
Must be something on the phone I reckon.
I wonder if it's anything to do with the latest Firmware update - I'm not sure if I've tried it since doing that.
Any more information on this is welcomed.
I have changed nothing.
Thought I'd check if the update worked today - it did !!
All it confirms is that Nokia App Updates are unreliable I'm afraid.
