hi,
I recently had some problems with my 16 gig memory card so had to do a backup of all the contents of the phone as well as memory card, then I could send the memory card off for replacement. It took quite a while and I didn't have another memory card with enough capacity to restore the whole backup file so I essentially started a fresh. now the replacement memory card is here i'd like to merge all of the backup files with the ones I've created since starting a fresh.

Can anyone direct me to where the backup files are kept on my computer (Vista) or suggest a way of merging these files. I've read that restoring a backup from PC Suite just overwrites whats there now.

One simple way is to search for .nbu files on your computer 😃

Or once you connect your phone,

in XP this is how it behaves,

Connect your phone in pc suite mode, Open Nokia PC Suite Content Copier,

Backup > Select the data you want to take backup > next > you can select the folder where you want to store your backup file
