Hi, i have been using PC Suite for year and because i have formatted my pc and installed windows 7 i was tempted by Ovi suite.
However one big missing feature appears to be the calendar management.
Unless i'm completley missing an option or button somewhere.
Ovi online is okay but not faultless, and syncing online is a bit hit and miss.
Also when away from home and using my 3g internet connection i hate to be online and wasting my allowance.
yes it's missing, or hidden so deep you can't find it...but i'm betting its missing
in the push to make it 'user friendly' (yea right) they made it look so simple that it almost becomes useless for ppl like us...ugh
i'm still using pc suite, and wont be changing to ovi suite anytime soon
Well, i've uninstalled Ovi and gone back to pc suite.
Why does Nokia insist on complicating things.
Have you tried the ovi suite beta on beta labs website - it may be back in!

I'm with you on this one riverboat.
I like the modular format of the PC Suite. That way if something goes wrong, or was updated, you only have to download that component.
The Communications Centre (texting) is better and easier to use.
As for calendar, I suppose Nokia thought that since most people sync with their computer that they could use that calendar with Ovi Suite.
True, the Ovi Suite looks very nice but does use a fair bit of RAM and CPU on the computer particularly bearing in mind that it's designed to run in the background every time you switch on.
Perhaps Nokia should remember K.I.S.S. which I think was coined by Lockheed engineering... Keep It Simple and Stupid!
I am an official ovi betatester and this has been discussed with the developers... is gonna be back in the future... just have patience! 😞 I am as sad as you...
And for the RAM + CPU issues don't worry... we are fighting to get all these solved ASAP!
I sync with Google Calender, it's nice and easy and can be used with mail for exchange.
Set up a cal with google and then click on snyc at the top right, there is a step by step guide for nokia phones.
I have upgraded to windows 7 and as such i use Mozilla Thunderbird email client and Mozilla Lightning as my calendar. And as such i have managed to sync it with my online google calendar.
I did try using Ovi online as my syncing client, BUT i lost loads of stuff because it doesn't "like" you having more than one sync profile.
Wouldn't it be just so nice if every app just "played" nicely together.
